We are firmly committed to organizing an event that not only discusses sustainability but also integrates it at every step. Our goal is to achieve the lowest carbon footprint, reduce waste and energy consumption, encourage sustainable travels and create meaningful partnerships with local suppliers.
Our Sustainability Goals
Waste Reduction
- We strive to generate as little incinerable waste as possible by promoting recycling and composting.
- Booths, decorations and event supplies are made from reusable materials or will be reused later to minimize waste.
- A scenographer specializing in circular economy will decorate the spaces.
Mobility
- We encourage participants to use public transports or adopt soft mobility measures (walking, cycling) to join the event.
- Our internal policy does not support speakers flying to the event if there is a train alternative.
Catering
- In partnership with the STCC caterer, we offer local and seasonal food, reducing our carbon footprint.
- No meat is served to reduce the environmental impact associated with meat production.
Partners
- We collaborate with local suppliers to limit CO2 emissions associated with the transportation of goods.
- We work with MyClimate to calculate the carbon impact of our event.
